My obsession with fun printed shorts continues. Saw these Anthropologie Madison shorts over at Sequins & Stripes and fell in love. When I looked them up, I saw that they came in two different prints! Such a tough decision....
Hey y'all! I'm starting another new series today called BOOKMARK. I've always loved reading, but I often find myself pulling books off the bookshelf at Barnes & Noble not necessarily for what they're about, but for what their covers look like. So I'm going to split BOOKMARK into two parts:
COVER: for a well-designed book cover that's caught my eye
PAGES: for a book that I've been reading or I want to read soon.
Hopefully there's some bibliophiles out there that'll enjoy this series as much as I do!
I got this for Christmas and have yet to have the time to finish it, but it's a great look at the relationship between four best friends, all very different, who met the first day of college and have been part of each other's lives ever since.
"A tender story of friendship, a witty take on liberal arts colleges, and a fascinating portrait of the first generation of women who have all the opportunities in the world, but no clear idea about what to choose." - via amazon
Considering it's cold and rainy here, this is living vicariously via online shopping at its finest. That being said, it's less than a month until I'm sitting on the sandy beaches in Mexico for Spring Break, and I would give an arm and a leg to pack one of these babies in my suitcase....or all three!
Happy Saturday! I don't know about y'all but I'm so glad it's finally the weekend. I've decided to start a new series to showcase all the fabulous inspiration I find on pinterest these days, so at the end of every week, I'll pick a few of my favorite images and add them to my "Things I Pinned and Liked" notebook! Hope you enjoy!
Found this image on pinterest earlier and fell in love with this necklace - the colors, the simple lines, the repetition. It's made by Iacoli & McAllister, a Seattle-based design studio that makes really cool geometric home goods and jewelry. According to their website, they're inspired by things such as industrial processes, thunderstorms, other people's mixed cd's, bike rides, and sandblasting, so I'd say they're probably pretty cool.
As soon as I saw this image of Harper's Bazaar's newest issue, I immediately fell in love. As fun as text and pictures and design design design can be, sometimes less really is more. This is just so clean and simple that it grabs your attention and holds it. Tell me you wouldn't go straight to this magazine among the dozens on the rack that look exactly the same? And don't even get me started on Gwyneth's body...
